Eternal Announces Privacy-Focused AI Platform Dark for 2026 Global Launch
Eternal, the parent company of Zomato and Blinkit, has introduced Dark, an AI platform designed to prioritize data privacy for enterprises and researchers.

Eternal, the parent firm behind Zomato and Blinkit, plans to release its proprietary AI platform, Dark, to global markets by 2026. The company intends to target a specific user base consisting of researchers, enterprise clients, government entities, and corporate founders who require high levels of confidentiality in their digital interactions.
The system is built on fine-tuned frontier open-weight models and operates on internal infrastructure rather than third-party cloud services. According to founder Deepinder Goyal, the platform utilizes end-to-end encryption and a user-controlled memory layer to ensure that session history remains inaccessible to the provider, even under legal compulsion.
Eternal aims to differentiate Dark from mainstream AI assistants by addressing concerns regarding data retention and third-party access. Goyal stated that standard methods of disabling model training often fail to account for data logging or human review processes. By maintaining localized control, the company seeks to attract users who currently avoid AI tools due to sensitive information requirements.
