Eternal's Profit Nearly Triples Year-Over-Year to ₹92 Cr, Falls 47% Sequentially

Eternal, the parent entity of food delivery services Blinkit and Zomato, announced a consolidated net profit of ₹92 crore for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027. This figure represents a substantial increase, nearly tripling the ₹25 crore profit recorded in the same period last year. However, the company experienced a 47% sequential decline in profit from ₹174 crore in the prior quarter.

The company's operating revenue saw significant growth, skyrocketing 182% year-over-year and increasing 17% quarter-over-quarter to ₹20,211 crore during the reported period. Including other income of ₹375 crore, Eternal's total income reached ₹20,586 crore for the quarter.

Total expenses for the quarter were reported at ₹20,314 crore. The company's tax expenses for the three-month period amounted to ₹180 crore.

The results highlight a strong year-over-year performance for Eternal, although the sequential dip in profit suggests potential market fluctuations or seasonal impacts that will be closely monitored in subsequent financial updates.
