EU Motors doubles drone motor output with new autonomous balancing system

EU Motors, a manufacturer of electric propulsion solutions for drones and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), has implemented a fully autonomous rotor balancing system at its production facility in Krakow, Poland. This upgrade is set to double the company's monthly output of brushless DC (BLDC) motors.

The new system reduces the time required to balance each motor from over two minutes to under 15 seconds, eliminating the need for manual operator intervention. EU Motors anticipates reaching its new production capacity of 100,000 units per month by September 2025, significantly increasing its market supply.

"We are excited to be the world’s first BLDC motor manufacturer outside of China to utilize a fully autonomous balancing system," said Michael Berger, CEO of EU Motors. He added that the move strengthens Europe's supply chain resilience for critical drone components.

All EU Motors products are designed, engineered, and manufactured in Poland. The factory operates with six automated winding stations and includes automated processes for magnet assembly, precision balancing, quality control, and testing. The company aims to achieve a fully autonomous production line by the end of 2025.
