Eucatex Adopts RELEX Solutions for Supply Chain Planning
Brazilian manufacturer Eucatex S.A. has selected RELEX Solutions to improve its supply chain planning for its construction materials business, aiming to unify demand, inventory, and distribution.

Eucatex S.A., a prominent Brazilian industrial manufacturer, has chosen RELEX Solutions to enhance its supply chain planning processes within its construction materials division. The company, which produces paints, laminate flooring, doors, and partitions, will implement RELEX's demand planning, inventory planning, and distribution planning capabilities.
The decision comes as Eucatex faces increasing complexity in managing inventory across its expanding product lines. By the close of 2025, inventory levels had begun to strain working capital, exacerbated by spreadsheet-based planning methods lacking integration between commercial, supply chain, and logistics teams. This system made maintaining a clear view of stock across over 1,300 stock-keeping units (SKUs) challenging.
RELEX Solutions' platform aims to transition Eucatex to a unified planning approach. It will incorporate AI-driven demand, distribution, and inventory planning to generate forecasts up to 18 months in advance at the SKU, channel, and distribution center level. These forecasts will directly inform inventory optimization, recalibrating safety stock and replenishment parameters dynamically.
Distribution planning will then translate these insights into coordinated transfer orders across Eucatex's network, considering logistics constraints and service targets. The company anticipates this will reduce emergency shipments and improve product availability. The partnership, with implementation led by Sintec Consulting, seeks to align teams around a shared demand view, improving planning efficiency, reducing stockouts, and supporting growth.
"Our goal with this project goes well beyond deploying new technology," stated José Antônio Goulart de Carvalho, Executive Vice President at Eucatex. "We are building planning capabilities that give our leadership team clear visibility and control over our supply chain." Martín Saludas, VP Manufacturing LATAM at RELEX Solutions, added that better planning supports Eucatex's sustainability goals by reducing excess inventory and unnecessary transport.
