Eurobio Scientific Expands Molecular Diagnostics

Eurobio Scientific, a player in the in vitro diagnostics sector, has recently announced significant expansions to both its product offerings and business operations.

The company enhanced its oncology capabilities by releasing genomic assays for the diagnosis of urothelial carcinoma and cancer of unknown primary origin. These new tests aim to improve patient care by providing more precise and targeted diagnostic solutions in oncology.

In a separate strategic move, Eurobio Scientific finalized the acquisition of CareDx’s transplant laboratory product division. This acquisition is expected to strengthen the company's position in the transplant diagnostics market and broaden its product portfolio within this specialized field.

These developments follow other significant corporate actions, including the acquisition of Voden Medical Instruments Spa's life science unit in Italy in July 2025, which expanded Eurobio Scientific's market presence in Italy. The company has stated its strategy involves growth through both organic development and strategic acquisitions.
