Eurobio-Scientific to acquire CareDx transplant laboratory product division
Eurobio-Scientific has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the transplant laboratory products division from CareDx, aiming to bolster its molecular diagnostics portfolio.

Eurobio-Scientific has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the transplant laboratory product portfolio from CareDx. Announced in April 2026, the move is designed to accelerate the company’s strategic expansion within the in vitro diagnostics (IVD) sector.
The acquisition centers on specialized kits for transplant gene analysis, a high-growth segment of the diagnostics market. By integrating these assets, Eurobio-Scientific seeks to solidify its position as a supplier of molecular diagnostic tools used in clinical transplant monitoring.
This transaction follows a series of growth initiatives, most notably the March 2025 acquisition of the Life Science business unit of Italy-based Voden Medical Instruments S.p.A. That deal provided the company with expanded capabilities in cell and molecular biology, as well as genomic analysis, further diversifying its European product distribution.
Following these recent acquisitions, the company is prioritizing the integration of these new laboratory product lines into its existing diagnostic framework to enhance operational efficiency and product reach.
