Eurobio Scientific's PRELUDE Registry Study Presented at Breast Cancer Conference

The PRELUDE registry study, supported by Eurobio Scientific, which evaluates treatment patterns and patient outcomes in early breast cancer, was presented at the European Breast Cancer Conference (EBCC) 2026 in Barcelona. The presentation highlighted the study's role in providing real-world evidence for individualized treatment strategies.

Dr. Georgios Metaxas from Elena Venizelou General Hospital in Athens presented the findings as a poster (Poster 333) during the Precision Medicine session. The PRELUDE registry is a prospective, multicenter, investigator-initiated study designed to gather data from patients with ER-positive, HER2-negative early breast cancer eligible for EndoPredict testing.

The registry aims to generate real-world evidence to optimize treatment decisions. Luminal breast cancer is recognized as a heterogeneous disease, and the EndoPredict test aids in refined risk stratification, guiding decisions on adjuvant chemotherapy. The study plans to enroll up to 2,000 patients over a three-year period, with follow-up extending up to ten years.

Key clinical endpoints include assessing distant relapse-free survival (DRFS) and overall survival (OS) at 5 and 10 years, as well as evaluating the impact of the EndoPredict test on adjuvant chemotherapy decision-making. As of February 2026, 281 patients have been enrolled across 13 active sites in Greece, with expansion to additional national and international centers underway.

The PRELUDE registry contributes to strengthening the evidence base for EndoPredict in real-world clinical settings and supports the advancement of personalized treatment strategies for early breast cancer.
