Eutin constructs new fire station with 21 million euro investment
The city of Eutin is replacing its outdated fire station with a new facility. The project, costing over 21 million euros, is scheduled for completion by the end of the year.

Construction has begun on a new fire station in Eutin, Germany, intended to replace existing facilities that are no longer adequate for operational needs. The cornerstone for the new building will be laid on Meinsdorfer Weg.
The municipal investment for the facility exceeds 21 million euros, funded primarily by the city without significant outside subsidies. The blueprints include specialized technical and training rooms, sanitation facilities, and an emergency exercise tower, complemented by 90 parking spaces.
Sustainability is integrated into the design through a rainwater harvesting system, which channels runoff into underground storage for operational use. The construction project is expected to reach completion by the end of the current year.
