EVage Motors Showcases Specialized Electric Commercial Vehicles at London EV Show

Indian electric vehicle manufacturer EVage Motors participated in the London EV Show to showcase its specialized electric commercial vehicles. The company focuses on purpose-built electric solutions and commercial vehicles, highlighting its innovations and future ambitions for sustainable transportation.

Company founder and CEO Inderveer Singh Panesar emphasized at the event that the London EV Show provided an excellent platform to demonstrate the company's progress in developing customizable and durable electric commercial vehicles optimized for last-mile delivery and urban transport. Panesar stated that EVage's flagship commercial van confirms the advantages of light yet powerful electric vehicles over traditional diesel trucks for short-range needs.

EVage Motors aims to fill a market gap in electric commercial vehicles, a sector still less developed than the electrification of passenger cars. The company designs modular commercial vehicles that can be tailored to customer route requirements and cargo specifications. The vehicles utilize lightweight composite materials based on aerospace principles and durable battery technology enabling fast charging and long service life. The company has also developed the mCube modular manufacturing process to streamline production and reduce costs.

EVage Motors secured over $25 million in funding during its Series A round in 2021 and aims to expand beyond India. The goal is to become a global player, particularly in emerging markets. The company plans to launch new concepts and export globally next year, focusing on meeting local regulations and infrastructural challenges. The event reinforced the company's belief that its solutions meet the needs of emerging markets with affordable, modular, and robust electrification options.
