Even Realities removes camera from smart glasses to focus on productivity

Even Realities has launched its new G2 smart glasses, which the company states are designed to prioritize user productivity over recording capabilities. The devices deliberately omit cameras and speakers.

Instead, the G2 glasses feature a monochrome, green heads-up display that shows text and information, designed to resemble a neon board and remain visible in all lighting conditions. The company is targeting professionals who frequently attend meetings, give presentations, or travel internationally.

The device's functionality relies heavily on smartphone connectivity. While the glasses boast a premium appearance, their performance and user experience are significantly dependent on the phone's reliability. Even Realities aims to differentiate itself from competitors like Meta by focusing on tools that assist users in their professional tasks.
