EVERYWHERE Integrates with Skydio for Autonomous Drone Response
EVERYWHERE Communications and Skydio have integrated their systems to enable autonomous drone dispatch to incident locations during SOS events. This collaboration enhances emergency response capabilities for lone workers.
EVERYWHERE Communications announced an integration with autonomous drone company Skydio that allows SOS events to automatically dispatch drones to incident locations in real-time. This new capability extends emergency response beyond traditional infrastructure limitations.
The integration connects the EVERYWHERE Platform with Skydio's autonomous drone operations. When a worker activates an SOS alert, the event is transmitted to EVERYWHERE and then to Skydio, which dispatches a drone to the precise incident location. Simultaneously, supervisors, dispatch centers, and emergency services are notified through existing EVERYWHERE workflows.
This system is designed to improve safety for lone workers operating in remote or hazardous environments. The capability is currently being validated and is expected to see full operational deployment soon, with early program feedback indicating strong interest.
EVERYWHERE and Skydio plan to further develop this integration for sectors like utilities and defense. These industries often involve lone workers in challenging remote locations and have high safety requirements, making drone response a valuable tool.
