Evident's EviSmart Platform Integrates AI for Dental Labs and Clinics

Evident has introduced its EviSmart platform, an AI-driven solution aimed at streamlining operations for dental laboratories and clinics. The platform offers tools to support diagnostics, patient communication, and laboratory work automation, with the goal of improving efficiency and collaboration without requiring a complete overhaul of existing systems.

For dental practices, EviSmart is described as enhancing diagnostics by providing a platform that can integrate various AI tools for imaging analysis. The system also aims to improve patient communication and engagement through AI-powered treatment visualizations and automated responses to common inquiries, allowing staff to focus on direct patient care.

Dental laboratories can utilize several EviSmart modules. EviSmart QC automatically reviews prescriptions and digital scans, flagging issues before production to reduce remakes and delays. Additional modules include automated downloading of scans (Downloader), case entry automation (CaseEntry), and integrations with lab management systems (LMS) for scheduling, payment processing, and reporting.

The platform also incorporates tools for CAD design, such as AI-assisted crown design and seamless connection to outsourced design services. For communication, EviSmart Comm offers a secure messaging system, and for production optimization, EviSmart Nest streamlines material usage for 3D printing and milling.

Evident states that a key benefit of the EviSmart platform is its design for integration with existing hardware and software. This approach aims to reduce disruption and enable the adoption of AI benefits without significant changes to current workflows.
