Evogene Receives Additional Time From Nasdaq to Comply With Minimum Bid Price Rule

Evogene Ltd. announced on March 30, 2026, that it received a letter from the Nasdaq Stock Market LLC granting the company an extended period to regain compliance with the minimum bid price requirement. Previously, Evogene was notified that its ordinary shares had a closing bid price below $1.00 for 30 consecutive business days, and was given until September 28, 2026, to rectify the situation.

The latest notification from Nasdaq indicates that Evogene is now eligible for an additional 180-day compliance period, extending the deadline to March 29, 2027. The company will be considered in compliance if its ordinary shares maintain a closing bid price of at least $1.00 for a minimum of ten consecutive business days during this period.

Failure to meet this requirement by the March 29, 2027 deadline could result in the delisting of Evogene's securities from Nasdaq. The company stated that maintaining its Nasdaq listing is a key priority and that it is exploring options to cure the deficiency, including potentially executing a reverse stock split.

Evogene's ordinary shares will continue to trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol "EVGN" during the extended compliance period. The Nasdaq notification does not affect the company's listing on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
