Ex-Delhivery, Cleartrip Executives Launch Profound for AI Professional Support

Profound, a new AI-native startup founded by former executives from logistics firm Delhivery and travel company Cleartrip, has officially launched. Co-founders Prashant Parashar, previously tech head at Delhivery, and Anuj Rathi, former chief business and growth officer at Cleartrip, aim to provide AI-powered professional support for individuals.

The startup is building an AI assistant, referred to as a 'representative,' designed to learn a user's professional context, including expertise, experience, and career ambitions, through interactions. Profound claims this AI can act similarly to managers for public figures, assisting with professional representation.

Profound has secured $1.5 million in seed funding from investors including Stellaris Venture Partners and 3one4 Capital. The round also saw participation from several prominent angel investors in India's tech industry.

The company's technology is structured in four layers: understanding, representation, connection, and amplification. Profound intends to offer services for both individuals, such as resume building and job matching, and businesses, aiding in candidate search and evaluation for recruitment.
