Ex-Instamart COO Ankit Jain to Lead Nykaa Now Quick Commerce Unit

Beauty and personal care major Nykaa has appointed Ankit Jain, former Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Swiggy Instamart, to lead its quick commerce venture, Nykaa Now.

Jain joins Nykaa as the business head for Nykaa Now and an executive vice president for the supply chain of Nykaa Beauty. This appointment follows his departure from Swiggy about a month prior, amid leadership changes at its Instamart unit.

Before joining Swiggy in May 2025, Jain held a senior vice president position at Walmart-backed e-commerce firm Flipkart for nearly six years. He also spent approximately 15 years at Unilever.

The move comes as Nykaa intensifies its focus on quick commerce. The company had previously stated plans to aggressively market the Nykaa Now offering. At the close of the last fiscal year, Nykaa Now operated 75-80 dark stores covering nearly 90% of pincodes in India's top seven metro cities.
