Exchange Traded Concepts cross-lists Hanwha Asset Management ETFs in Abu Dhabi

Exchange Traded Concepts has expanded the reach of two Hanwha Asset Management ETFs by listing them on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange.

2 November 2026

Oklahoma City-based ETF platform provider Exchange Traded Concepts (ETC) has completed the cross-listing of two funds advised for South Korea's Hanwha Asset Management on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX). The PLUS Korea Defense Industry Index ETF (KDEF) and the PLUS Korea Manufacturing Core Alliance Index ETF (KMCA) began trading on the ADX on November 2, 2026.

The KDEF fund tracks an index of South Korean aerospace and defense companies, while KMCA targets 35 companies across sectors such as AI semiconductors, shipbuilding, and energy. Both funds previously established primary listings in the United States, and this move adds a third market to their footprint.

ETC facilitated the listing process by coordinating with the exchange, market maker Oceane, and legal representatives to meet local regulatory requirements. Garrett Stevens, co-founder and chief business officer of ETC, noted that the expansion demonstrates the firm's capability to support asset managers as they scale their strategies across different international jurisdictions.
