EXP Participates in Record-Setting Corporate Challenge Race
An EXP team of over 40 runners participated in the Chase Corporate Challenge in Chicago, which saw over 27,000 participants, setting a new record.
An engineering firm EXP sent a team of over 40 runners to the 36th annual Chicago Chase Corporate Challenge. Held at the end of May 2017, the event set a record as the largest single-night Corporate Challenge in the United States, attracting more than 27,000 participants.
Team scores were determined by combining the top four fastest times for both men and women. EXP's leading male runners included Matt Newman, Zach Gardner, Mark Dvorak, and William Schaefer, while the top female runners were Sara Wing, Amy Frankowski, Bari Singer, and Hilary Urkevich. Both teams significantly improved their overall times compared to the previous year.
The event served as a fundraiser and awareness builder for Get IN Chicago, an organization focused on reducing youth violence through after-school programs and community outreach. This marked the fourth consecutive year the Corporate Challenge supported the initiative.
