Experience Kissimmee Launches Film Commission
Experience Kissimmee, the official tourism authority for Osceola County, has launched Film Kissimmee to promote the area's filming locations and attract productions.

Experience Kissimmee, the official tourism authority for Osceola County, has established Film Kissimmee, a new film commission aimed at attracting film, television, and digital media productions. The commission will promote the destination's diverse filming locations and aims to drive economic impact through increased tourism.
Film Kissimmee will serve as a centralized resource for production companies seeking filming opportunities in Central Florida. The initiative connects industry professionals with a wide range of local settings and resources. DT Minich, President and CEO of Experience Kissimmee, stated that the launch creates a direct link between the community and an industry that can boost visitation and support local businesses.
Led by Nick Floyd, Experience Kissimmee's Manager of Video Production, the commission has identified over 100 potential filming locations across Osceola County. These locations are being added to an online directory powered by Reel-Scout, an industry platform for location management, enabling filmmakers to search for available properties and production information.
The county offers a variety of filming environments, including natural waterways, wetlands, historic downtowns, ranchlands, and modern centers. The extensive collection of vacation homes also provides unique, production-ready settings. Film Kissimmee is also expected to generate significant economic opportunities for local businesses by supporting the needs of production crews for accommodation, dining, and transportation.
Looking ahead, Film Kissimmee plans to expand its location database, develop educational resources for local partners, and coordinate familiarization tours for producers to further position Osceola County as a filming destination.
