Expo 2027 Belgrade Drives Business and Tourism Growth for Serbia and North Macedonia
Preparations for the upcoming Expo 2027 Belgrade are fostering increased trade and tourism between Serbia and North Macedonia, highlighted by a recent B2B networking event.

The forthcoming Expo 2027 Belgrade is poised to create significant new business opportunities for both Serbia and North Macedonia, as evidenced by a recent B2B networking event focused on enhancing bilateral ties. The international exhibition is serving as a catalyst for increased trade and tourism engagement.
A "Visit Serbia B2B Networking" event was held in Skopje, North Macedonia, bringing together over 50 business and tourism representatives. The gathering aimed to explore potential partnerships related to the Expo and to foster joint tourism initiatives.
North Macedonia is set to participate in Expo 2027 with a national pavilion themed "All Rhythms of the Sun," showcasing its music, gastronomy, wine, tourism, and creative industries. The exhibition, scheduled from May 15 to August 15, 2027, anticipates over 140 participating countries and approximately four million visitors.
The Expo's business program includes six forums, a Global Business and Technology Summit, and numerous bilateral meetings, supported by a digital B2B platform. Data from January to July 2026 indicates a 22% year-on-year increase in visitors from North Macedonia to Serbia, with over 82,000 traveling during that period.
