EXPO 2027 Belgrade promotes Serbian tourism at WTM London
Ahead of the 2027 Specialised Expo, organizers are showcasing Serbian tourism assets to international operators at WTM London.

EXPO 2027 Belgrade is promoting Serbia’s tourism infrastructure at the World Travel Market (WTM) in London, running from November 3 to 5, 2026. The promotional effort aims to encourage tour operators to integrate the upcoming exhibition into their travel packages, linking the event to wider regional itineraries.
Igor Kovačević, Director of EXPO 2027 Belgrade, stated that the event serves as a platform to highlight Serbia's cultural heritage, gastronomy, and landscapes beyond the capital. Current marketing campaigns focus on routes connecting Belgrade with Novi Sad, Fruška Gora, and the Danube region to extend visitor stays.
Serbia's tourism sector has shown growth in 2026, with 3.13 million total arrivals recorded through August, a 6.5% year-on-year increase. Overnight stays by UK tourists grew by 8.7%, signaling potential for further expansion in the British market.
The Specialised Expo is scheduled for May 15 to August 15, 2027, under the theme "Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All." Organizers anticipate over 140 international participants and four million visitors during the three-month event.
