Express Wash Concepts acquires Mach-1 Express Wash in Mt. Pleasant
Express Wash Concepts has purchased the Mach-1 Express Wash facility in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania, expanding its footprint in the Pittsburgh market to 14 locations.
Ohio-based Express Wash Concepts (EWC) has acquired the Mach-1 Express Wash site located in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania. The transaction brings the operator's total portfolio to 149 locations across its service regions.
This purchase serves as the 14th Clean Express branded site within the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. The expansion is part of a broader development strategy for the company, which anticipates opening six additional car wash locations in the region by the end of the year.
The car wash industry continues to see consolidation as regional operators look to scale operations and capture market share through acquisition. Express Wash Concepts has been actively growing its presence in the Northeast through both organic development and the integration of existing facilities.
Following the transition, the Mt. Pleasant location will operate under the Clean Express brand. The company has not disclosed the financial terms of the transaction.
