Expromet Technologies Group acquires Tiverton Fabrications
UK-based precision engineering firm Expromet Technologies Group has acquired Tiverton Fabrications to expand its domestic manufacturing capabilities.
Expromet Technologies Group has acquired Tiverton Fabrications Limited, a specialist in performance-critical welded solutions. The move adds fabrication and specialized welding services to Expromet's existing portfolio, which includes casting and CNC machining capabilities.
CEO Rob Guest stated that the acquisition aligns with the firm’s goal of providing comprehensive manufacturing services from design to final assembly. Tiverton Fabrications will continue to operate from its Devon facility, serving as a hub for the group's expanded fabrication requirements.
By integrating these processes, Expromet aims to offer a single-source solution for original equipment manufacturers. The group, which includes companies like Haworth Castings and Investacast, notes that the acquisition is part of a broader effort to streamline supply chains for customers requiring high-integrity components.
