FAAA Names Kristine Pham Recipient of Gwen Fletcher Memorial Award
The Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA) has presented Kristine Pham with the Gwen Fletcher Memorial Award for the first semester of 2023. The award recognizes the highest-performing student in the CFP Certification Unit.
The Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA) has awarded Kristine Pham the Gwen Fletcher Memorial Award for the first semester of 2023.
Pham, a financial adviser at Lipman Burgon and Partners, received the honor for achieving the highest mark in the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Certification Unit. The award, named after the late Gwen Fletcher, aims to recognize dedication to high-quality financial advice.
Pham has seven years of experience in financial planning. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales and a Diploma of Financial Planning from the Monarch Institute. She joined Lipman Burgon and Partners in 2021.
"The CFP program requires a lot of work and rigor, but it encourages you to step back and see the bigger picture, which goes a long way when advising in the real world," Pham stated. FAAA CEO Sarah Abood congratulated Pham, highlighting the CFP program's role in advancing the profession.
The CFP designation is recognized globally, with over 213,000 professionals worldwide. It signifies adherence to high educational and ethical standards in financial planning.
