Aerospace component manufacturer FACC AG has lowered its earnings guidance for fiscal year 2021, citing unexpected legal expenses. The company now anticipates a negative EBIT (Earnings Before Interest and Taxes) in the range of EUR -25 to -30 million, a revision from previous expectations.
The adjustment stems from recent decisions in a legal dispute with a supplier that dates back to 2011. FACC stated that these outcomes were contrary to the expert opinions of the company's lawyers and could not have been foreseen in their current form.
FACC AG is a key player in the aerospace industry, specializing in the design, development, and production of advanced lightweight systems and technologies for aircraft. The company serves as a technology partner to major aircraft manufacturers worldwide. FACC employs over 3,900 people across 15 international locations and its shares are listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange. In fiscal year 2025, the company reported revenues of EUR 984.4 million.
