FACC AG Honors Top Suppliers with Quality and Delivery Awards
Aerospace group FACC AG has presented its annual Excellent Supplier Awards to three suppliers recognizing outstanding quality and delivery performance.
Aerospace component manufacturer FACC AG has recognized its top suppliers with the annual Excellent Supplier Awards. This year, gold, silver, and bronze awards were presented to companies for their high-quality products and on-time deliveries.
FACC CEO Robert Machtlinger emphasized that supplying high-tech products globally is a key factor in FACC's success. He stated that a strong supply chain and intensive exchange with suppliers are crucial, especially in the current challenging environment. The awards acknowledge companies that have demonstrated extraordinary dedication to quality and reliable delivery.
When selecting winners, FACC also considered factors such as environmental protection, sustainability, customer service, flexibility, and the implementation of cost-saving and process-optimizing measures. The gold award was presented to Howmet Fastening Systems for its fastening solutions in the aerospace industry. The silver award went to Tata Advanced Systems, a subsidiary of India's Tata Sons, and a long-standing supplier of composite materials for aero engines to FACC.
The bronze award was given to Vaupell China and Vaupell Europe GmbH, which provide technical component solutions for international aerospace companies. They impressed FACC with their outstanding delivery and quality performance. FACC intends to further strengthen these supplier relationships to prepare for future challenges.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, FACC was unable to hold a traditional award ceremony. Winners were notified and honored in writing. The annual supplier conference was also canceled.
