FACC AG Launches Aftermarket Services Business Area
Aerospace component manufacturer FACC AG has established a new business segment focused on aftermarket services, including repair, refurbishment, and replacement of aircraft components.

FACC AG, a manufacturer of aerospace components, has launched a new business area dedicated to aftermarket services for aircraft. The new segment will encompass repair, refurbishment, and replacement services, aiming to support FACC's existing divisions: Aerostructures, Engines & Nacelles, and Cabin Interiors.
The company cites the increasing use of composite materials in aircraft and its specialized expertise as key drivers for this expansion. FACC has secured necessary certifications, including EASA.21J, AT.21G, and AT.145, along with FAA and TCCA approvals, enabling worldwide service delivery. The aftermarket services are targeted at existing original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) as well as a broader customer base, including airlines, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) stations, and spare parts providers.
Alongside the new services, FACC also presented its "Passenger Luggage Space Upgrade" product at the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg. This interior product enhances cabin aesthetics and functionality by increasing stowage space while reducing weight. The upgrade is designed to be completed within a single night.
Austrian Airlines will be the first customer to implement FACC's new luggage space solution. The airline plans to upgrade the cabins of its A320 fleet this autumn to improve passenger experience and expedite boarding processes.
