FACC AG supports future specialists with technical materials
Aerospace technology supplier FACC AG has donated materials and tools to higher technical education institutes (HTLs) for workshop use, aiming to support training and attract young talent to technical fields.

FACC AG, a technology partner to the aerospace industry, is supporting the training of future specialists by providing essential materials to higher technical education institutes (HTLs). The company recently supplied working materials for practical applications to HTLs in Ried and Andorf.
These materials, including carbon fabric and honeycomb cores, enable students to gain hands-on experience with lightweight construction materials directly relevant to the aerospace sector. FACC emphasizes the importance of bridging the gap between theoretical education and practical application. The company also offers students access to its own workshops for project work.
Robert Machtlinger, CEO of FACC, highlighted the company's social responsibility as a major regional employer. FACC actively fosters relationships with educational institutions and supports programs designed to attract new talent. This includes financial backing for the "Lightweight Constructions and Composite Materials" bachelor's program at Wels University of Applied Sciences, as well as scholarships.
Furthermore, FACC is committed to increasing female participation in technology through initiatives like "Women in Technology" and "Girls' Day." The company reports that women now constitute one-third of its apprentices. FACC also provides internships and supports diploma and master's theses to engage prospective specialists early in their careers.
