FACC AG, an aerospace supplier specializing in lightweight components, is expanding its US subsidiary, FACC Solutions Inc., located in Wichita, Kansas. The expansion is aimed at bolstering the company's aircraft component repair and maintenance (MRO) services.

The Wichita facility, established in 2014, focuses on the repair and modification of aircraft components, particularly those made from composite materials. FACC Solutions Inc. serves airlines, other MRO providers, and OEMs across North and South America. The company reported a 200 percent growth at the Wichita site.

"We see great potential in the repair and maintenance business, which is also reflected in a 200 percent growth achieved at our US site in Wichita," stated FACC CEO Robert Machtlinger. The expansion will increase the facility's area to approximately 5,600 square meters (60,000 square feet). Machtlinger added that the goal is to become the market's number one provider for its customers through flexibility, rapid solutions, and cost efficiency.

The expanded facility, operational from June 1st, will enhance FACC's capacity for aftermarket services. Both the US subsidiary and FACC's Austrian operations meet the required technical and regulatory standards for maintaining structural components, including those for wings, tail units, engines, and aircraft cabins.
