FACC marks 20 years of manufacturing operations in Canada
Aerospace manufacturer FACC is celebrating two decades of its Canadian subsidiary, which has grown from a support office into a regional production and maintenance hub.

Founded in 2006 to provide on-site technical support for Bombardier, FACC Solutions Canada has evolved into a key manufacturing node for the Austrian parent company. The subsidiary now employs over 80 people and manages the assembly of complex aerostructures and cabin interiors for major North American aviation programs, including the Bombardier Challenger 3500 and Airbus A220.
The company recently completed a 600-square-meter expansion of its Canadian facility, bringing its total production footprint to over 4,500 square meters. This increase in floor space aims to boost capacity for modular cabin interior systems and adapt to evolving customer requirements within the aerospace supply chain.
Beyond assembly, the site has broadened its operational scope to include maintenance services. Since 2022, the facility has operated as a Transport Canada-approved maintenance organization, providing repair and refurbishment for business jet cabins. This diversification allows FACC to maintain closer proximity to end-users at final assembly lines across the region.
