FACC Recognizes Top Suppliers with Annual Awards
Aerospace component manufacturer FACC AG has presented its "Excellent Supplier Awards" for 2015, honoring companies for outstanding performance in quality and delivery. The awards highlight key partners contributing to FACC's success.
FACC AG, an Austrian manufacturer of aerospace components, has presented its "Excellent Supplier Awards" for 2015, recognizing the exceptional performance and contributions of its key suppliers. The awards, including gold, silver, and bronze categories, along with a special performance award, aim to acknowledge partners who demonstrate excellence in quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Rudolf Leitner, Executive Vice President Procurement at FACC, emphasized the importance of these relationships. "The fact that FACC can depend on its suppliers for delivery reliability, quality, and sustainable improvements is a decisive competitive advantage," Leitner stated. He noted that the awarded companies exemplify competitive partnership.
Baz Airborne Components & Assemblies from Israel received the gold "Excellent Supplier Award". Silver was awarded to GMT - Gummi-Metall-Technik GmbH of Austria for its timely deliveries, while Germany's C6 Composite Tooling GmbH secured the bronze award. The "Special Performance Award" was given to Enikon Aerospace d.o.o. from Croatia for outstanding commitment in areas beyond conventional metrics.
FACC currently collaborates with approximately 650 suppliers globally. The company's purchasing volume was nearly 310 million euros in the 2014/15 financial year. FACC highlighted its procurement strategy, which focuses on securing short, medium, and long-term competitive advantages through strong supplier partnerships, fostering innovation in materials and processes.
