FACC Recognizes Top Suppliers with Awards

Aerospace component manufacturer FACC AG presented its "Excellent Supplier Award 2015" to its top suppliers on May 17, 2016. The awards recognized outstanding performance in metal and composite component supply, with gold, silver, and bronze categories, as well as a "Special Performance Award" .

FACC emphasized the critical role of its suppliers in maintaining its competitive edge. "Especially in times of global competition, it is a crucial competitive advantage that FACC can rely on its suppliers in terms of delivery reliability, quality, and sustainable optimizations," stated Rudolf Leitner, Executive Vice President Procurement at FACC. The awarded companies were highlighted for meeting these challenges and serving as positive examples of competitive partnerships.

The gold award was presented to Israel-based Baz Airborne Components & Assemblies, a provider of metal parts for the aviation industry for over 35 years. Austria's GMT - Gummi-Metall-Technik GmbH received the silver award for its contributions in vibration technology, while Germany's C6 Composite Tooling GmbH earned bronze for its efficient and flexible solutions.

Enikon Aerospace d.o.o. of Croatia received the "Special Performance Award" for demonstrating exceptional commitment and performance. FACC works with approximately 650 suppliers from 30 countries, with a procurement volume of nearly 310 million euros in fiscal year 2014/15. The company seeks long-term partnerships to drive innovation and technological advancement within the high-tech aerospace industry.
