FACC AG, known for its aircraft components, arranged in October a reward trip to China for 21 of its employees. The eight-day journey, from October 4 to 11, included sightseeing in Beijing and Xian.

Highlights of the trip featured visits to the Great Wall of China, the Terracotta Army, and a tour of FACC's Chinese parent company's aviation manufacturing facility in Xian. The visit provided employees with an opportunity to compare production processes between Austria and China, and to experience Chinese culture.

Employees described the trip as impressive, with particular praise for the Great Wall and the local hospitality. The journey was part of FACC's recognition program for its staff, following the company's designation as the most successful within its owners' corporate network in the 2012/13 business year.

FACC AG specializes in the design, development, and production of advanced fiber-reinforced composite components and systems for the aviation industry. The company supplies components to major aircraft manufacturers such as Airbus and Boeing. In the 2012/13 business year, FACC reported a turnover of 433.9 million euros and employed approximately 2,400 people in Austria.
