FACC to Manufacture Winglets for Dassault Falcon and Hawker Jets
FACC AG has signed agreements with Dassault Aviation and Aviation Partners Inc. to supply Blended Winglets for Falcon and Hawker business jets.

Aerospace supplier FACC AG is expanding its winglet business segment by securing contracts to equip Falcon and Hawker business jets with its fuel-saving Blended Winglets. The agreements were signed with Aviation Partners Inc., the inventor of Blended Winglet technology, and French aircraft manufacturer Dassault Aviation.
The deal with Dassault Aviation marks a new customer relationship for FACC, which will supply original equipment manufacturer (OEM) winglets for the Falcon 900LX and Falcon 2000LX models. FACC also secured agreements with Aviation Partners Inc. for the supply of winglets for Hawker 800 aircraft and for retrofitting Falcon 2000 aircraft.
Collectively, these contracts are for winglet equipment on over 500 business jets. FACC has an established relationship with Aviation Partners, having previously supplied over 3,000 winglets for Boeing 737 and 757 aircraft. The company previously supplied winglets for Boeing Business Jets and is also developing winglets for the Airbus A350 XWB.
Blended Winglets enhance aerodynamic efficiency, reducing fuel consumption and emissions by five to seven percent. This improvement lowers operational costs and environmental impact for aircraft operators, a significant advantage amid rising fuel prices and stricter environmental regulations. The technology reduces energy-consuming wingtip vortices, requiring less power for propulsion. Additionally, winglets can shorten takeoff roll distance and reduce noise pollution around airports.
