Fairphone launches smaller, lighter, longer-lasting repairable earbuds
Repairable electronics brand Fairphone has released its second-generation earbuds, the Fairbuds 2. The new model features a redesigned, smaller form factor and nearly doubled battery life.

Fairphone, a company known for its focus on repairable and ethical electronics, has launched its latest earbuds, the Fairbuds 2. These new earbuds maintain the brand's commitment to repairability while offering significant improvements in design and battery performance.
The Fairbuds 2 feature a complete design overhaul compared to their predecessors. They adopt a stemmed design, available in black or green, and come with a charging case that is 37 percent smaller. Despite the reduced size, Fairphone has nearly doubled the battery life, now offering up to 40 hours of total listening time without active noise cancellation.
The earbuds are available now in the UK and Europe for £99 / €119. A US launch is scheduled for November 2nd with a price of $119. This release continues Fairphone's strategy of providing sustainable and user-repairable alternatives in the consumer electronics market.
