Bethesda has unveiled the next year's update roadmap for Fallout 76, featuring a major expansion that will revisit the Raven Rock location. The roadmap extends through summer 2027.

Developer Bethesda has announced the update roadmap for Fallout 76 for the upcoming year, highlighted by a major expansion scheduled for release in summer 2027. This expansion will take players back to the iconic Raven Rock location, previously featured in Fallout 3.

The new roadmap details content updates spanning multiple seasons through summer 2027. Fallout 76 has remained the primary active title in the Fallout series since its 2018 launch. The upcoming updates also lay groundwork for the future of the Fallout franchise, including confirmed remakes of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas.

Bethesda's planned updates include the "World Pets" update in winter 2026, which will introduce companion pets to the game. Following this, the "Hideouts" update in spring 2027 will expand the bounty system and introduce new instanced dungeon content for solo or co-op play.

The Raven Rock expansion is anticipated to be the most significant addition, introducing a new explorable map area based on the Fallout 3 location. Its story will serve as a prequel, depicting Enclave activities in the region prior to the events of Fallout 3. Rumors suggest that a Fallout 3 remake might follow in late 2027, potentially making the following year a major period for the Fallout franchise.
