Famiglia Cecchi Marks 30 Years of Val delle Rose Estate

Famiglia Cecchi, a prominent Tuscan wine estate, is commemorating three decades of its Val delle Rose property located in Poggio La Mozza, within the Grosseto municipality. Acquired in 1996 when the Tuscan coast was developing its wine identity, the estate has become a recognized expression of the Maremma region.

The Val delle Rose estate has grown from an initial 25 hectares to a total of 186 hectares, with over 100 hectares now under certified organic cultivation since the 2021 harvest. The family has driven this expansion by implementing innovative farming methods informed by soil studies, culminating in a state-of-the-art winery opened in 2011. The property also serves as a hospitality venue.

To mark the anniversary, Val delle Rose is introducing a "fresh wave" of new bottlings designed to highlight the Maremma terroir's versatility, freshness, and drinkability. These include the "Rosamante" Morellino di Scansano DOCG and "Litorale" Vermentino Maremma Toscana DOC, alongside new arrivals like Lobelia Toscana IGT Bianco for 2026, Caprifoglio Viognier Maremma Toscana DOC, and Calipte Toscana IGT Rosé. The Calipte and Lobelia bottles feature designs printed directly onto the glass using organic inks to ensure full recyclability.

"Thirty years ago, we chose Maremma because we sensed its potential: an ever-evolving land offering the ideal soil and climate for extraordinary freedom of interpretation," stated Andrea Cecchi, President and CEO of Famiglia Cecchi. "Val delle Rose was born from this vision: working the vineyards with deep respect for the territory's authentic character."
