Family Research Council president scheduled to speak at Missouri and Kansas churches
Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, is set to address congregations in Kansas City, Missouri, and Wichita, Kansas, this Sunday, October 25.
Family Research Council (FRC) President Tony Perkins will visit two church locations on October 25 to deliver presentations titled "When We Stand." The events are scheduled for Sunday morning services in the Kansas City, Missouri region and Wichita, Kansas.
The FRC, a Washington D.C.-based organization, focuses on policy advocacy centered on traditional social values. These appearances are part of the organization's ongoing outreach efforts to connect with religious communities across the United States.
Perkins has led the organization since 2003. His speaking engagements typically emphasize the intersection of faith and public policy. The appearances in Missouri and Kansas follow a period of heightened activity for the council regarding legislative initiatives at both the state and federal levels.
