Fanvue Establishes Rules for AI Adult Content

Subscription platform Fanvue has published detailed rules for the publication and commercialization of AI-generated content, including adult material, on its platform. CrePal, which provides content orchestration tools, notes that adherence to these rules is essential for creators looking to leverage AI commercially.

Fanvue draws a clear line between permitted artistic creation and digital exploitation. The use of AI for adult content requires strict measures, such as mandatory disclosure that content is AI-generated, ensuring unambiguous adult characteristics, and verifiable consent protocols if the content is based on existing individuals.

According to the platform, all AI-generated personas and AI-assisted posts must be explicitly marked so subscribers know they are not human-created. Furthermore, fictional AI characters must be unambiguously adult, and digital replicas derived from real people require verified identity credentials and written consent.

Fanvue also strictly prohibits the use of AI to impersonate real individuals without their express consent. Such actions are considered fraudulent impersonation and lead to permanent account termination. All publicly discoverable content, such as profile pictures and preview posts, must remain strictly "Safe For Work" (SFW).
