Far Eastern New Century Showcases Textile Innovations from Sports to Circularity
Far Eastern New Century (FENC) presented new fiber solutions, including materials for World Cup jerseys and recycled textiles, at the Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show.

Taiwanese textile manufacturer Far Eastern New Century Corporation (FENC) showcased its latest innovations at the Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show (TITAS) from October 6-8, 2026. The company highlighted high-performance sportswear, 100% polyester circular solutions, and advanced functional fibers.
FENC is a supplier to several national teams competing in the 2026 World Cup, providing materials for their uniforms. Their FENC® TopCool® Petal fiber, designed for moisture management, was selected as the official material for the tournament by a major global sportswear brand. The fiber reportedly offers good moisture-wicking, quick-drying properties, and a soft feel.
The company is also advancing circular economy initiatives in the textile sector. Building on its long-standing expertise in recycled polyester from post-consumer PET bottles, FENC has developed a "textile-to-textile" (T2T) recycling process. The company's AirTek low-carbon polyurethane technology has received international recognition, including Germany's innovation award and a prize from Taiwan's Ministry of Environment.
Further innovations include a new generation of 100% polyester synthetic leather and a solution for recycling composite materials in the footwear industry, developed in collaboration with partners. FENC® Telix aramid fiber is designed for demanding industrial and defense applications requiring high mechanical strength.
Founded in 1949, Far Eastern New Century is a global company with operations in multiple countries, serving major international brands. The company leverages its vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities and material science expertise to advance both performance and sustainability.
