Farr's Best has initiated a $100,000 scholarship campaign to support students. The first award, totaling $5,000, was presented to student Aiden Wates-Gee during the organization's leadership summit.

Farr's Best, a national nonprofit organization, has launched a $100,000 scholarship campaign aimed at supporting students. The campaign was announced during the organization's annual Family Leadership Summit, held at Sacramento State University's Black Honors College on June 9.
Among the initial recipients is Aiden Wates-Gee, who received a $5,000 scholarship to support his participation in a speech and debate program. Wates-Gee, who achieved a 4.1 GPA, will attend an honors college program in the fall. American First Credit Union provided founding support for the program.
The summit, which took place from June 19–21, focused on cultivating leadership through family, education, and community. The event featured university leaders and community representatives, including Michael Williams, Senior Vice President of Consumer Lending and Member Experience at American First Credit Union.
Andre Farr, founder of Farr's Best, emphasized the significance of the scholarship initiative. "This scholarship represents our commitment to building leaders before titles are earned and before careers begin," Farr stated. "Leadership is cultivated in families, strengthened through education, refined through mentorship, and sustained by communities that intentionally invest in one another."
