FAUN introduces compact and agile VARIOPRESS KOMPAKT refuse collection vehicle
FAUN Group has launched the VARIOPRESS KOMPAKT refuse collection vehicle, designed for efficient waste collection in urban and rural areas. The vehicle has a capacity of 5.5–8 m³ and a width of only 2 meters, enabling maneuverability in tight spaces.
FAUN Group has introduced the VARIOPRESS KOMPAKT, a new refuse collection vehicle engineered for efficient waste management in both urban and rural environments. The vehicle's primary advantages lie in its compact dimensions and agility, making it suitable for navigating narrow streets and rural routes.
The new model features a manual bin lift system and a foldable chute for ergonomic manual loading. The vehicle operates within a chassis weight class of 7.49 to 8.55 tons, with a body volume ranging from 5.5 to 8 cubic meters. Its width is limited to 2 meters, facilitating movement in restricted areas. The VARIOPRESS KOMPAKT is capable of collecting waste from 2-wheel and 4-wheel bins.
FAUN highlights the VARIOPRESS KOMPAKT's versatility for collecting various types of waste and recyclables. Its size allows access to areas with limited maneuvering space, such as tight cul-de-sacs. The company emphasizes the vehicle's high functionality and robustness despite its compact build, along with an optimal payload-to-volume ratio.
Drivers with a C1 driving license (or Class 3 prior to 1999) can operate the VARIOPRESS KOMPAKT, which has a permissible gross vehicle weight of 7.49 tons. FAUN confirms that all available features for its VARIOPRESS range, including the Barlift system, are also offered for this compact version.
