FAUN Group, a manufacturer of refuse collection vehicles and street sweepers, has unveiled a series of new features and updates designed to enhance its equipment. These improvements primarily target an improved operator experience, increased vehicle efficiency, and enhanced safety.
Among the new developments is the "Shared Screen" system, which provides a modern and intuitive user experience by consolidating all essential information onto a single 12.3-inch touchscreen display. FAUN has also introduced an "Operator Winter Package" aimed at improving working conditions during colder and darker periods.
The company also presented the new "CITYJET HYDRO-DRIVE" system for its CITYJET street sweeper. This system promises more power with lower fuel consumption by utilizing two pumps for maximum performance of the blower and hydraulics. FAUN emphasizes that this efficiency gain retains the established CITYJET concept, making sweeping operations more sustainable.
Focusing on safety and hygiene, FAUN has developed the "Hygiene Board" handwashing station, offering operators readily accessible washing and disinfecting supplies directly beneath the vehicle's superstructure. Additionally, the company has launched a "Powered Footboard" and a "Safety User Display" to bolster operator safety and comfort.
