FAUN ROTOPRESS Enhances Waste Collection Efficiency

FAUN Group is highlighting its ROTOPRESS refuse collection vehicle, engineered for the efficient collection of residual and commercial household waste. The vehicle is equipped to empty all standard containers ranging from 60 litres up to 1,100 litres, depending on the fitted lifter.

The ROTOPRESS model is particularly suited for the collection of biowaste, benefiting from its rotary drum that homogeneously mixes and compacts the waste. FAUN states that this design minimizes maintenance and repair requirements, contributing to its overall economy.

The vehicle's construction emphasizes low maintenance and operational efficiency. Features include bolted wear plates for press screws, simplifying replacement, and an accessible rear section lock for easy servicing. A liquid-tight container base and an optional liquid collection tray, available in stainless steel, are also offered.

Improvements for operational crews include a new rear extraction system that is easily accessible for inspection and cleaning. Electrically driven running boards and enhanced workspace illumination, with optional LED lighting, are incorporated to improve safety and workflow during waste collection operations.
