FAUN to Showcase New Waste Collection and Street Sweeping Vehicles at IFAT 2026

FAUN Group will present a range of new waste collection vehicles and street sweepers, alongside technological innovations, at the upcoming IFAT 2026 trade fair in Munich. The company's exhibition will focus on enhancements in safety, efficiency, and sustainability within municipal services.

Among the new offerings is the VIAJET 8 POWER, a completely newly developed street sweeper designed for challenging construction site environments. FAUN states this vehicle aims to set new standards in robustness and performance. For urban applications, the VARIOPRESS URBAN is being introduced, addressing the demands of increasing traffic and narrow city streets.

The company is also highlighting circular economy principles with the reNew VARIOPRESS, a concept vehicle featuring a body designed to be part of the recycling cycle itself. FAUN will further showcase its Safety & Performance System (SPS), an integrated approach to vehicle technology, driver assistance, and artificial intelligence, presented as part of the "Future Truck 2.0" concept.

Artificial intelligence plays a significant role in FAUN's display. The FAUN AI Cube aims to bring AI directly into waste logistics operations, analyzing and actively intervening in processes. Enhanced fire protection is also a key feature, with an intelligent multi-stage system designed to counter risks from sources like lithium-ion batteries in waste streams.

FAUN is also slated to exhibit at BAUMA 2025 in Munich in April 2025, demonstrating robust sweeping technology. The company recently secured a contract with FIMA Industries for waste management solutions in Lagos, Nigeria, and continues its collaboration with Daimler Truck AG through its ENGINIUS brand.

The company's presence at IFAT 2026 will operate under the theme "Home of Originals," covering integrated solutions for waste management and street cleaning.
