FAUN to Unveil New Waste Management and Street Cleaning Vehicles at IFAT 2026
FAUN Group will introduce new sweepers and refuse collection vehicles at IFAT 2026, focusing on enhanced robustness, efficiency, and new technologies for urban and construction site applications.

FAUN Group is set to unveil a range of new vehicles and technological innovations at the IFAT 2026 trade fair, scheduled for May 4-7, 2026, in Munich. The company's presentation will center on advancements in waste management and street cleaning, emphasizing improvements in safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
A key highlight will be the VIAJET 8 POWER, a newly developed sweeper designed for demanding construction site environments. FAUN states this vehicle sets new benchmarks for performance, robustness, and efficiency, with a design tailored to the rigorous demands of heavy-duty use.
Additionally, FAUN will present the VARIOPRESS URBAN, a refuse collection vehicle engineered for modern city challenges, including increasing traffic density and narrow streets. Another significant introduction is the reNew VARIOPRESS, which demonstrates FAUN's commitment to circular economy principles in commercial vehicle manufacturing. Its construction is designed to be part of the recycling loop for valuable materials.
The company will also showcase its Future Truck 2.0 concept, featuring integrated vehicle intelligence through the Safety & Performance System (SPS). This system merges vehicle technology, assistance functions, and artificial intelligence to enhance safety and efficiency in waste logistics. The FAUN AI Cube brings artificial intelligence directly into waste logistics operations, capable of analyzing and actively intervening in processes.
FAUN will also present its intelligent, multi-stage fire protection system, addressing the growing fire risks in waste collection vehicles, particularly those associated with lithium-ion batteries in waste streams. Other innovations to be displayed include Smart Hopper Control and new digital operating concepts, all aimed at advancing safety, efficiency, and sustainability within the sector.
