FAW-Volkswagen Begins Deliveries of ID. AURA T6 Electric SUV

FAW-Volkswagen has officially launched national deliveries for its all-electric SUV, the ID. AURA T6. The vehicle, which was introduced earlier this month, is now being handed over to customers across China.

The model debuted on September 20 and is available in four trims, priced between 129,900 and 166,900 yuan (approximately $17,800 to $22,800 USD). The SUV measures 4811mm in length, 1879mm in width, and 1648mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2836mm. Inside, it features a 15.6-inch central display, a 25.8-inch AR-HUD windshield display, and a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster.

The ID. AURA T6 utilizes the "Core Power" solution, a collaboration between FAW-Volkswagen and Horizon Robotics. Its Journey 6H chip provides 420 TOPS of computing power, with system response times under 160 milliseconds. The sensing hardware includes a 192-line LIDAR unit.
