FAW-Volkswagen revealed the interior of its ID. AURA T6 electric vehicle for the first time at the Changchun International Auto Expo on July 11, 2026. The vehicle measures 4811mm in length, 1879mm in width, and 1648mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2836mm, offering an interior space utilization rate of 85.3 percent.
The cabin features soft-touch materials accented with chrome detailing. The front passenger seat, referred to as the "queen's seat," offers 12-way power adjustment, a ten-point massage function, ventilation, heating, and a welcome memory function. The front seats can also fold flat with a single button press, creating a 1.8-meter long flat resting space when combined with the rear seat cushion.
Rear-seat passengers benefit from a high-load-bearing small table equipped with expandable magnetic interfaces for accessories such as phone holders. A 220V external power outlet expands the vehicle's utility beyond the cabin, supporting outdoor activities like camping and al fresco entertainment.
The 90-liter front trunk is a new feature for the Volkswagen brand, designed with a sealed edge and drainage holes to be waterproof, dustproof, and capable of separating wet and dry items or odor isolation. The rear cargo area offers a standard volume of 576 liters, expandable to 1796 liters with the rear seats folded. The vehicle incorporates a total of 38 storage compartments throughout the cabin.
