FAW-Volkswagen commenced pre-sale for its all-electric mid-size SUV, the ID. AURA T6, on August 28 in China. The model is available in four configurations, with prices ranging from 135,900 to 169,900 yuan.

The vehicle's highlight is the new "Yunqi Zhicang" intelligent cockpit, powered by a 4nm automotive-grade chip and artificial intelligence. Volkswagen describes this system as "the most powerful car system in Volkswagen's history." The cockpit is built on the CEA electronic architecture, jointly developed by Volkswagen and Xpeng, supporting over-the-air (OTA) updates and advanced features like sentry mode.

The ID. AURA T6 is equipped with a 420 TOPS computing power and a 192-line LiDAR sensor, utilizing Horizon Robotics' Journey 6H chips and batteries from CATL. The SUV measures 4811mm in length, 1879mm in width, and 1648mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2836mm. It offers two range options: 540km and 660km.

Inside, the cabin features a 15.6-inch 2.5K central display, a 25.8-inch AR-HUD, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. An 18-speaker Dolby Atmos sound system will be available via a future OTA update. The vehicle includes a "Queen's Co-pilot" seat with 12-way electric adjustment, massage, and ventilation functions. The front seats can also fold flat with the rear seats to create a 1.8-meter sleeping area. Additionally, it offers a 90-liter front trunk and a maximum cargo capacity of 1796 liters with the rear seats folded.
