Felix Carl Elected New Mayor of Bad Bramstedt
Residents of Bad Bramstedt elected Felix Carl as their new mayor on Sunday, with Carl securing 59 percent of the vote. He is set to take office on February 1, 2025.

The citizens of Bad Bramstedt in the Segeberg district elected Felix Carl as their new mayor on Sunday. According to the city administration, Carl secured 59 percent of the votes.
The 44-year-old, currently the managing director of Lebenshilfe in Bad Bramstedt, ran as an independent candidate with the nomination of the CDU faction. He defeated his opponent, Nils Böttger. The incumbent mayor, Verena Jeske, did not seek re-election after six years in office.
Carl's term as mayor is scheduled to begin on February 1, 2025. Approximately 12,000 residents were eligible to vote in the election, which saw a turnout of 42.8 percent.
