Fendi unveiled its Spring/Summer 2024 Couture collection during Paris Fashion Week, with Artistic Director Kim Jones exploring themes of precision and emotion. The collection finds inspiration in Karl Lagerfeld's futuristic approach to the brand.

Jones emphasized the collection's focus on humanism and the craftsmanship inherent in couture. "There’s the body, the silhouette within the silhouette, the person and the handwork of the couture," Jones stated. "The collection is about structure and decoration, where the two become indivisible."

The showcased silhouettes, designed to convey precision and movement, began and concluded with a "Scatola" (box) shape. The use of supple crocodile and intricate embroideries provided a sense of exactness with each wearer's motion, while feather-like fringe added an ultra-light fluidity. Transparent elements unified the body and garments, and "Shibari"-inspired tops subtly revealed the form.

The color palette transitioned from dark to light, culminating in shimmering silver. Accessories included jewelry designed by Delfina Delettrez Fendi, such as the 18k white gold and diamond "Singular Vision" eyewear. Baguette bags, designed by Silva Venturini Fendi, mirrored the clothing's materials, with new Fendi Gems Baguette bags and a diamond-encrusted Mini Baguette highlighting craftsmanship.

The show was accompanied by a score composed by Max Richter, contributing to the collection's poetic and emotional presentation.
